Hippo Hollow Country
Estate is situated outside Hazyview on the banks
of the SABIE River, with the Drakensberg mountains to the west.
Hippo Hollow Country Estate is personal and provides the ideal breakaway
from the rigorous of city life.
The lodge has an "Out of Africa" feel about it, and leaves
you totally relaxed and refreshed. The lodge consists of 18 Chalets
(sleeping 4 people), 13 Chalets sleeping 2 people and 22 double
rooms. Each of the chalets is self catering with twin bed accommodation
and 18 of the chalets have a loft area with
twin
beds. They are tastefully decorated and have wooden decks with gas
braai facilities.
The lodge has 2 centrally
positioned swimming pools that provide a welcome respite from the
heat. Other on site facilities include
a well stocked curios shop, fully licensed restaurant and bar overlooking
the Sabie River, as well as a helicopter doing a variety of flights
over the scenic area.
On site
we also have a conference facility for up to 60 delegates, with
all the modern conference equipment.
