Lowveld Dog Training Club starts a new course at Uplands Prep in White River. Basic obedience classes will be held at 15:00 and intermediate at 14:00. Enquiries: Pam on 082-824-4522 or Dee on 013-741-4163. Lowveld Country Club’s running section in conjunction with HL Hall & Sons will host the 17th annual Halls 21km and 10km races on July 7. The entry fee for the 21km is R30 and R15 for the 10km. Entries can be booked on Friday July 6 from 16:00 or on race day from 06:30 at the starting point at Hall’s Gateway. Both races will begin at 08:00. Temporary numbers will also be available at a cost of R15. The entry fee per team is R60 for the 3km and R90 for the 10km event and anyone interested in competing should contact the race organiser Mark Greeff on 083-299-3779 for entry forms.
